In 2019, TerraVici expanded it’s operations to China, completing our first well in the Shengli oil field for a large operator.
Using a TerraPoint™ 650 RSS, we successfully built the curve from 60° inclination and utilized Inclination & Azimuth Hold mode to perform a soft-landing at 89°, with less than 1m deviation from the wellplan. We reached TD and completed the job using 1 rotary steerable, drilling for approximately 115 hours.
TerraVici has since completed jobs for multiple clients in several diffrernt regions/plays within China, all to the satisfaction of our clients.
